Chan Poling B&W Headshot.jpg
Chan is fairly new to the book writing scene, and his first book Jack Cooper & the Ghost Girl, illustrated by Red Sofa illustrator Lucy Michelle, is currently out on submission. He has been published before, however, through his songs which you've probably heard on the radio, television, films, and staged.

Three things to know about Chan:
- He has been a composer of music and a writer and performer of songs for many wonderful adventurous years.
- He loves all sorts of poetry and books.
- He has an always growing, many faceted family that he loves.

Five books Chan loves (all of which he read before he was 25. He's of course read many other great books since then, but these are ones that have influenced/moved him):
1. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
2. Collected Poems by Theodore Roethke
3. The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien
4. The Changing Light at Sandover by James Merrill
5. Under Milk Wood by Dylan Thomas
