Alex Thomson.jpg
Alex is the author of Death of a Clone which is his first novel, but he has always enjoyed writing for friends: role-playing games, murder mysteries and plays. N.B. He's had a few short stories published, but many years ago, he doubts the collections are still in print.

Three things about Alex:- He once played bongos and harmonica in an acoustic band called "Mango and the Chutneys"- He lives in Letchworth Garden City, the world's first Garden City and home to the UK's first roundabout!- His strangest job was as drug escort to tennis players at Wimbledon, which involved following players into the changing rooms/showers to ensure they didn't take any drugs/injections after a match.
Five books Alex loves or that have shaped his writing:1. A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess2. Ghostwritten by David Mitchell3. And then there were None by Agatha Christie4. Gormenghast by Mervyn Peake5. Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell
